In this episode, Glenn and I had the wonderful opportunity to engage and connect with new friend, perinatal counsellor, freedom advocate, mom, wife, and critical thinker, Maribelle (a.k.a. Karine). Maribelle got the conversation going by talking about how she believes so many of us are so wrapped up in our jobs, even identifying as the work we do. She goes on to say what a small aspect our jobs and work are in the grand scheme of things, and that we are so much more than that. We talked engagement, connection, opportunity, triggers, perception, intention, the importance of prayer, new motherhood, and freedom. We talked about risk analysis; "going back to caveman;" how important it is to connect to each other and our innate wisdom; how vital it is to connect to the land we are on; and, about how our choices impact not only ourselves but others as well. We also talked about the value of the individual vs. the collective, and how who we are and who we think we are is reflected right back at us in everyone in our lives and the experiences we create for ourselves. So what are we choosing to think. . . ? What are we choosing to believe. . . ? Rich, candid, funny, thoughtful and thought provoking - what an amazing way to start of our 2022 podcast year! This, and so much more...! Plus, there's the super fun Rapid Fire Question Round at the end! A new episode posted at least twice a month!
